Alicia Malone

Alicia underwent the FilmStruck application process, an TCM movie streaming platform. Malone had recorded Robert Osborne's and Ben Mankiewicz's intros to help prepare her for her TCM broadcast hosting audition. In 2017, she auditioned for the Turner Classic Movies presenter position. The channel hired her on January 1, 2018. Malone discussed the struggles females face when it comes to film production in two distinct TEDx speeches. In order to avoid being delayed for practice in the field and to avoid being late for field-hockey, her drama instructor suggested that she skip her practice in favor to joining the cast of Richard III.
